Paris 2024 is already around the corner. As evidence of this, the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games Organizing Committee has selected five agencies, according to our information, to form a group capable of meeting the advertising creation and production missions for the next Olympic (July 26-August 11) and Paralympic (August 28-September 8) Games. These are the agencies Australie, BETC, La Chose, TBWA/Paris and Buzzman, which has just joined the Havas group, which this summer acquired a 51% stake in the agency founded by Georges Mohammed-Chérif.
The world’s top sporting event, for which France Télévisions officially obtained the free-to-air rights last April, is a major opportunity for French agencies, which are sharpening their weapons for 2024. The Olympics in France are expected to be followed by more than 13 million spectators and nearly 4 billion television viewers around the world through more than 100,000 hours of TV coverage.
